minor things that make you fume

What's with this random new thing over the past couple of months were people will drive laps around the city centre pumping out some variation of loud music and beeping their horn at everyone?? annoying and confusing in equal measure.

Doesn't start until tomorrow, not that I would imagine it would make any difference.

Rule of 6 started on the 14th. The below is from the Governments Coronavirus pages

Limits on the number of people you can see socially have changed. From Monday 14 September, when meeting friends and family you do not live with (or have formed a support bubble with) you must not meet in a group of more than 6, indoors or outdoors. This is against the law and the police will have the powers to enforce these legal limits, including to issue fines (fixed penalty notices) of £100, doubling for further breaches up to a maximum of £3,200

The local restrictions being brought in on Tuesday in areas of the North-West are stricter than the national Rule of Six and effectively a total ban on people visiting someone else's home regardless of there being less than 6 albeit with some exceptions.

The following social contact restrictions currently apply to parts of Blackburn with Darwen, and the whole areas of Pendle and Preston. From 22 September, these restrictions will also apply to Halton, Lancashire (excluding Blackpool), Merseyside, and Warrington.

If you live in one of the affected areas, you must not:

  • host people you do not live with in your home or garden, unless they’re in your support bubble
  • meet people you do not live with in their home or garden, whether inside or outside of the affected area, unless they’re in your support bubble

Shows how confusing it is.
*heads off to the Oldies thread for comfort.

I was at a car dealership at the weekend Volvo/Mazda, up rocks the salesman from the Subaru dealer in town with his customers, parks next to another car (Mazda) and starts comparing his Subaru test drive car to the Mazda at the mazda dealership - unbelievable cojones. I walked up to Mr Subaru's customer and suggested he not buy a subaru as they are completely gutless when joining a highway.... (although the Mazda is worse) Mr Subaru was extremely peeved, they all got in and drove off.

The covid extremist who grassed us up to the police twice whilst we were having a bereavement memorial gathering.... bet they were fumin when the police had to walk away and told us to carry on and they were sorry for our loss. ha ha your allowed upto 30 people if your outside and people are socially distancing so sniff it rats.

Drivers who think it's normal to overtake you on the motorway then cut right in front of you even when there's little traffic.

I think a lot of the time this happens its the said offenders way of saying 'get out of the middle lane, if there's little traffic you should be in the left lane so I can overtake you in the middle lane which is the way its is supposed to work'

BTC Mate I'm well aware of the highway code, middle lane hoggers are a bug bare of mine I'm on about when I'm in the inside lane and this usually occurs when it's quiet so that makes it all the worse, totally uncalled for and highly dangerous, not the way ' it's supposed to work'

This seems like an ideal thread to start my GOT career on:

1. People who use the word yous. Like what yous doing here.
2. As I worked in a shop people who tried to return stuff by saying "no one told me it did not come with that" or "no one told me it cant do that". We cant tell you everything things cant do or don't come with.
3. Pittsburgh Steelers.
People who use the word cant when they should use the word can't.
