minor things that make you fume

When the players at every match do the "taking the knee" bit before kick off, why do all the commentators have to fill that 30 seconds with idle little homilies when really a bit of respectful silence would be more in keeping? Are they really that self important that they think that keeping their gobs shut for half a minute is beneath them? I can't stand any of them by the way, in case you hadn't noticed :red:.
Taking the knee? Didn't that used to called kneeling down?

UPS were supposed to deliver a package yesterday. Gave me a window of 12.30 to 4.30. The package spent the whole day in a depot in a different state yet they claimed it was getting delivered. Then once 4.30 passes they say by 9pm. Package left their depot at 10.45pm to head to my local one. It's now been on a truck all day no more than a mile from my house as the map updates on the app to the rough location of the van. And it drove pretty past my house to get to where it is.

No rush lads. Might as well be 28hrs late rather than as quickly as you can fix your error.

People who stand right by you in a shop or even in the street/train station when it's not needed even before this virus it would annoy me. I don't want strangers right by me when there is loads of space
This. Some people have no sense of personal space. And some people just don't give a damn.

When you've spent 5 minutes in a gargantuan queue for the one open till in the supermarket and they announce another will open and the effing millennials who just joined the queue at the back, with their colour coordinated covid mask acting as a chin strap charge to the front of it.

Our cultural transition into selfish and ill mannered yanks, incapable of taking turns, is well underway it seems. I no longer want to see what the future brings.

He gets other people to put up his stuff, according to rumours. Think the Banksy tours in Bristol are very embarrassing
Yes and No. There is a massive graffiti scene down here round near Brighton and there are quite a few Banksy pieces if you know where to look for them. The Banksy 'project' spans a number of different medias so yes there is more than one person involved in it but the artwork and Banksy himself is defo that Robin Gunningham guy from what i was told a few years ago, and he gets away with a lot of it because his wife is a backbench MP! Defo a bit of a darker side to him though if you watch the documentary about him and a guy called King Robbo, some strong suggestions he had Robbo beaten up so bad that he actually died.

Its not so much annoying, more bemusing,Priory road has roadworks at the moment, the junction with Walton lane, anybody who knows there will know its a straight road with the only turn offs being in to the cemetary or the crem,at Arkles lane end is 4 large signs saying road closed, yet a constant stream of drivers cant read or think it doesnt apply to them,up they go only to have to do U turn and drive all the way back down,it puzzles me why they do it

I have (had) a policy to cover water supply and drainage. Got notification that the premium was increasing by 34%. (No claims). A few days later, I read in the press that the company had been fined over £30m for mis-selling. How to get your customers to pay your fines eh!
