minor things that make you fume

Its not so much annoying, more bemusing,Priory road has roadworks at the moment, the junction with Walton lane, anybody who knows there will know its a straight road with the only turn offs being in to the cemetary or the crem,at Arkles lane end is 4 large signs saying road closed, yet a constant stream of drivers cant read or think it doesnt apply to them,up they go only to have to do U turn and drive all the way back down,it puzzles me why they do it

Same thing by us, with one of the main roads blocked off at a junction, for re laying further on.

The other day, I saw a fella bump up onto the pavement, drive around the signs and onto the closed road, only to be confronted with a load of bemused workees and a JCB a few hundred yards down the road lol

Had a quiet day yesterday, didn't do anything you could class as 'hard graft'. Last night, 2.00 a.m. woken up by terrible pain in right hand and wrist (no comments please). Kept me awake for the rest of the night. Today, can't do anything with my right hand, extremely painful. No idea where it came from, what caused it. Had some tablets left from when I had knee trouble a few months ago, so am taking those and hope it works for hand and wrists too. No fun getting old.

Tendinitis? Worth massaging the muscles below your elbow maybe. Especially if they feel knotted and tender when you do it.

In the end I had to send my item back by Royal Mail even though I could of gone back to the shop.
Thing is I usually get my stuff from the store at GP when I'm at the match. As much as I'm tempted, I can't justify a 280 mile round trip just for a coutlets of items. So I'm going to see if my two lads want anything then if I get a decent response, I will do a click and collect and come across.

Honestly I’ve just counted and it took 12 mails to get it sorted when the QR code (that you pay for) wouldn’t work at any of the shop readers.

1st; its got carbon dioxide or nitrogen sealed in there to help it last longer so they have more chance to sell it to you
2nd; the point is there is no point you've already given them your cash - what do they care.
Your former point is very valid. Over the hot summer I cautiously opened a pack of bacon we found in our car boot from 3 weeks previously. It wasn't bulging and smelled alright so I cooked and ate it. The lack of oxygen preserves most things.

People who spend £500k on a new house and can't be arsed spending £50 or so on redirecting their mail. We kept on getting the previous owners mail for 12 months but rather stupidly took it to their new home without so much of a thank you or kiss my arse. So we stopped doing it and started putting it back in the post box with their address marked. Cheeky melts are now turning up at ours enquiring have we had any of their mail. The very cheek of it.
