minor things that make you fume

Plantar Fasciitis. The medical term for heel pain. I've been suffering from it for the past fortnight. Unable to put weight on my left hoof and I'm hobbling about like a cripple. Thing I'm fuming about is there's hardly anything you can do to remedy it. The usual rest, ice pack elevation etc is cancelled out by the recommendations to exercise.
If it helps- I had a lot of trouble with foot pain like this. With me it came down to tendinitis where the tendons in the feet get inflamed. The cause was cramped knotted muscles in my calfs which I didn't even know were there. Prod around the calf for tender spots and massage and apply pressure. It hurts! Apply firm pressure for 30s or so. Then go to a step and stretch the calfs by standing on the step with your toes, angle the foot upwards.

After a couple of days stretching like this my foot pain cleared up. Whenever it returns I know what to do.

Blame the muscle not the tendon - is what I've learned - and the local doc has never been any use with this.

Hopefully Might work for you.

Have you tried orthotic inserts mate, there`s loads of stuff on sale that you can buy that`ll help ease the pain ?

You probably already know this, but never walk in your bare feet with it, as it makes the pain worse.

Get a pair of " slides " for walking around the house in.

You can get proper " recovery slides " from the likes of Hoka, which runners use after they`ve been running.

They`re like regular slides, but with much more cushioning - which means quite a bit more expensive ( £30 )
I’ve got a pair of Birkenstocks which I use for round the house. Working on construction sites for 16 years has battered my feet and they felt so uncomfortable at first, but they’re great now I’ve got used to them.

I think I'm gonna have to do something on those lines. It's been bad again today, although not as bad as last few days. It's the over-compensating for the ailment that makes things worse. Hip pain, knee pain, I think I'm ready for the knackers yard as my old fella used to say.

Have a good look online, as there’s loads of stuff you can get - inserts, socks etc and the “ recovery slides “ deffo help around the house.

It can be very hit and miss when trying stuff out, as some things will suit your feet and some won’t, so you can spend a few quid before you get the right gear.

Suffered from that in 2017 and put up with it for 18 months, till finally after months of physio and exercises, I had an operation to fix the problem and have not been bothered with it since. Problem now is I've got it in the other food but because of Covid an other op is out of the question at the moment.

Had some cash on passenger seat earlier, did my window down at a junction and it blew everywhere :( lost £20 luckily wasn’t all of it but either way proper annoyed me
