One of the many, many reasons I will not use public transport if there is any other conceivable option.

The main reason being it's full of, well - The Public

When I lived in London I’d drive home every 5-6 weeks or so on a Friday. Everyone would always ask me why I drove and didn’t get the train as it was so much easier and more comfortable etc.

I got the train once. I booked myself a seat on the quiet carriage with a table. I ended up sat opposite a screaming dribbling toddler for 2.5 hours. Never again.

People having full blown phone conversations on public transport.

Even worse when people think it's acceptable to play full blown rave music out of their phone, without headphones, on the 7am train to work, where most people are trying to sleep.

I'm only part time in the office at the minute but I nearly always drive now. I don't think I could ever go back to 5 mornings a week on the train to work!!

I utilise public transport.

There once was a time when you could read a book or newspaper.

Those day's are long gone, and now only one way to survive.

MP3 player on max volume, and inanely look out of the window for the entire journey.

Just sat here since this morning on Microsoft Teams doing a training course for my EUSR (CSCS) card renewal.
Got 91% on my first test, then 88% on my second attempt. Pass mark was 80% but I’ve managed to fail twice as got more than one wrong in a single module on both occasions. Ridiculous questions as far as I’m concerned. What a div. Got to redo the whole thing again another day. Now having a beer.
