minor things that make you fume

The total unwillingness of pharmacists to give you anything decent over the counter.

I was at death's door last week, but the pharmo could offer nothing more potent than a bottle of Night Nurse.

Meanwhile a procession of addicts were happily grabbing their Methadone, high fiving the staff, and waltzing out the door.

Since all this lockdown business and working from home I have taken to going for a walk for exercise before work. Never noticed before, probably because I didn't walk in the street as much, but it is amazing the excessive speed some people drive in 20 mile per hour zones. Normally with their kids in the car and the windows covered in baby on board signs ? I assume they are taking their kids to school but the 20 mile per hour limit zones are often close to schools to protect kids. Has that not occurred to them????

This appears to be post-lockdown specific: people who drive around with their full beams on, ignoring the fact they are blinding everyone else. I've been driving for more than twenty years and you almost never saw it before 2020; now it's every time I drive anywhere.
I wonder if this is to do with phones and what not. People are so used to having brightness in fron of them.all the time. That maybe when they are faced with a bit of darkness, their brain says nah..light it all up. Pretty deep I know. But.my theory anyway.

I actually think everything to do with driving is getting worse and has been really noticible since lockdown. Used to joke BMW drivers didn't use their indicator. Now I would say on my journeys it is a good 50% that don't use them. Also sommany are in such a rush, they take ridiculous risks when coming onto a main road. Plus the local council could really clean up of they sent out traffic wardens. Nobody respect's a yellow line, parking on the corners of junctions etc.
