I’m registered blind and went to glasgow in jan , Glasgow is the most helpful and friendly city I’ve been too. I lived in London and I couldn’t disagree more . But your experience was different to mine , still love the place though.

It's all a matter of individual experience. When I lived in London I felt I could walk just about anywhere with no problem whereas I wouldn't have done that in Glasgow with all the gangs about at the time..
But London has got more violent, I reckon, over the years.

Glasgow is a genuinely friendly city with good people.

Errr, it happened in Warrington, Cheshire. The River Mersey is quite a big river.

I saw a chance to post a report with a funny headline. It was meant to be light hearted. I didn't mean to upset you, or indeed anyone.

With the benefit of hindsight, maybe I should have taken into account the feelings of really precious people, like your good self, who get offended at the slightest thing.

P.S. I would like to make it clear to everyone, I do NOT think Scousers go around booting old folk into rivers. I was only joking. ?

Went to the Medical Centre this morning for a blood test. Only 5 minutes in the car. 5 sets of temporary traffic lights, one set being a '3 way' one. Coming back home decided to take an alternative route and only came across another two sets. Oh, and one road was closed to traffic. Nightmare.
