minor things that make you fume

Going for a routine dental checkup thinking everything is fine but finding out you have to spend about £3000 on root canals and crowns. FML

This has been eating me up for years.

When we sing ‘grand old team’ how out of sync we all are. It’s shambolic.

Surely someone else has noticed it too???

lol Me and my mates always used to joke that we always seemed to get right smack bang in the middle of 2 differently timed sections, not just with Grand Old Team. Made it very hard to sync up with one and sing, used to end up just shouting Everton randomly.

The habit of footie supporters, but in my experience mostly RS, who prefix their allegiance by big/massive/fanatic.
As in I'm a massive Liverpool fan. Two guys on Pointless tonight prove my point.

It is usually the ones that you know have either never been to Anfield or even been to Liverpool, proper roll your eyes moment when somebody says that.

It is used to justify their existence, instead of somebody just simply nodding and going OK, they are hoping for a 'wow, you are a Liverpool fan, I like you as this defines who you are and you must be a wonderful person for not only being a fan of a club but a massive one'.

To be honest and not just saying this but if I was on one of these shows and they asked hobbies, etc. I would simply say I liked watching sports, wouldn't even mention football never mind a specific club, unless they asked.

Fair play to the lad who said he supported Tranmere though.

Was he a massive Tranmere fan though ;)

Very well put.
In the scenario you imagine whereby you are asked your allegiance, that is almost always the case with me having a strong Merseyside accent, because I have such a hangdog expression of a face my reply is on the lines of would I have such a look if I was a kopite?
