minor things that make you fume

This one's awfully specific.

People who get absolutely biblical about how dangerous tailgating is, and how much they hate tailgaters... BUT then react with unbridled aggression when you point out that if they feel SO threatened, it would be wise for them to simply move aside and let the tailgater pass them.

I simply don't like the hypocrisy.

Sure, tailgating is a pain and yes it is dangerous. So when someone does it to me I just pull over and let them go - problem solved. But when I suggest this as a course of action for others who moan about how to deal with tailgaters, I inevitably receive abuse. The passive aggressiveness of someone who stubborn sits in the way, slowing down, doing anything they can to prevent the tailgater passing... I lose all sympathy for them.

Driving in France opened my eyes on this topic. No-one gets tailgated on the autoroutes, because people actually use their mirrors and pay attention to what's happening behind them.
There is actually merit in what you're saying but absolutely no chance I'm not enjoying a game of tap the brakes as @JimmyJeffers said

Just flick your fog lights on for a few seconds, they think your braking. I do it all the time...hate tail gaters me.
I hate tailgaters myself. A couple of light touches on the brakes usually frightens the proverbial out of them. Never thought of using the fog lights ?

Audi drivers are a pain - they seem to believe they have an exclusive right to stay permanently in the fast lane. The attitude is "get out of my way".

Mind you I helped my daughter to buy one last year.

Mate !!! Audi drivers are the worse, I always thought it was a myth... but its true, I bet the lad above who was moaning about tailgate moaners drives one ? ?

That is actually a correct use of the word!!

Example of wrong use:

"How long have you been in your current role?"

"So, four years." Ffs

Correct use.

"I don't like when it is used inappropriately".

"So, why is that?"

It should be used when seeking the reasoning behind a statement. Makes absolutely no sense just starting every sentence.

Pedant I know :)
