minor things that make you fume

Pay and display machines that don't take a card...90% of them.

Then I had a brain wave, as I was in Scarborough I hit the arcade and got 30 quids worth of pound coins from the change machine = sorted for a week.
Had the opposite problem last month. Our meters finish at 6 on a Saturday. Coincidentally footy finishes at 6 so I don't use the meters. Game had to be early due to a conflict and meters have no coin slot. I spend a few minutes downloading an app and registering with a card.
Get inside the pub and it sent me a text every minute with an update of how long I had left.
Prefer your story tbh.

Getting flashbanged by the TV at 2am when Discovery channel or whoever decides that a bright white screen is essential for absolutely no reason.

The weird change in the past few years where people trying to sell you stuff act like you work for them.

I get bombarded with phone calls in work with people trying to sell stuff to the company, some useless, some possibly good but I am not just going to buy stuff there and then.

So I button them yet they leave snotty messages telling me to call them back or they are finding it hard to get in touch with me! Even had a bloke message me on Linkedin saying that he is still waiting for me to connect with him.

Go away!

I was thinking about this the other day. I don’t think I have actually paid for anything using coins for years. What is the point of them 🤷‍♂️
Me neither, but sometimes - like parking - you have to have them.

But Its time to ditch the copper coins !

I know some say its inflationary...like the supermarkets for instance aren't lining their own pockets good style anyway, and that's where the real inflation creeps in.

If supermarkets and others were really feeling the pinch because of a lack of money in people's pockets.

Then their profits would be going down or at best remain static

But they're not !

Banks, Petrol Companies, Supermarkets etc - All up

I got myself a racquet run off batteries which gives them an electric shock, had hours of fun today toasting them on there, don’t half smell when burning though
I've got one of those. I managed to accidentally touch the metal while I was pressing the engage button. Surprised how strong the shock was. :(

Hotels that don't have smart TVs. Currently watching Newsnight - my Mrs asked "what's Newsnight?"

Oh and Bristol is minging to drive in the city centre.

Amazon… 🤬

Ordered some earbuds, but what actually arrived (after I’d had to wait in all day because I had to provide the driver with a code) was 120 Swan filter tips!!! Reckon someone in the warehouse is running a scam, swiping the actual ordered items and replacing them with something of equal weight. TBF to Amazon, they’re sending me the buds tomorrow, and I don’t have to send back the filter tips, but still…
