minor things that make you fume

Had a parcel on the way yesterday.with a 1-hr delivery window, and tracking showed it as delivered (with a picture and first name of person who received it), and I have no idea where it went - the door in the picture isn't even one on our street. I'm assuming (perhaps unfairly) that it's been trousered. Either way, it's very annoying as there was stuff for Christmas in there.

Rude, entitled people do my head in. I had to shoot into the M&S on Queens Drive to grab an extra couple of bits that we'd forgot, no problem it's my fault I'll brave the hassle. Well it was a little bit busy but not too busy. There was though this short middle aged woman, glasses on the end of her nose pretty much shouting at the girl who works there saying she needs this and where's that and pointing saying ok take me over here, without making eye contact with the poor girl. Completely rude as if she's the only one who has ever needed to go shopping. She wasn't incapable she just expected to be waited on basically. I left my place in the queue and purposely walked past the girl and loudly said "The most wonderful time of the year eh". She just rolled her eyes while the monster struggled for breath in shock. No way I could ever work in retail, especially at this time of year and I've nothing but respect for those who do.

Anyway, gonna open the Port and chill out. It's Christmas.
My mrs is a supervisor or whatever they call them now at Tesco …. She’s been working today from 8.30-4.30 pm and she says d she actually hates people. She’s has arguments over all kinds today but she won’t take any crap… she tells people when they’re complaining “well you’ve had 364 other days this year you could have come shopping” 😂

Good on her, some horrible people out there who need putting in their place. All the best to you and your legend of a missus

Seeing fully grown adults riding bikes on the pavement is a pathetic sight.
Driving through a well to do area yesterday and a woman was stood at the crossing with her bicycle. The lights change, the little green man pops up but instead of crossing she got on her bike and rode onto the road utilising the gap in traffic she'd created by completely stopping traffic in both directions.

Wasn't even busy. She could have easily just joined the road rather than bringing both lanes to a halt.

Not far from me, a car with TWO blue badges parked in a way that blocks other blue badge users from using the pavement. You can’t get a wheelchair or buggy through the gap between the backs of the parked cars - you need to go in the (A) road to get around, and I’ve seen a few people having to do just that. I’ve seen the driver on a few occasions - if they’re a blue badge holder, they are looking pretty good on it! However, they have dropped off/picked up an elderly lady who I would assume to be the holder, but she is only ever in there for half an hour or so at a time. They take her away, then come back and settle back into ‘their’ spot while folks with and without pushchairs stop, wait for traffic to pass, then make their way around the obstacle. Selfish, inconsiderate and entitled bellends. 🤬

They need to start asking for ID of these random people they drop these parcels to. Or get picture of their face. Massive p*ss take. I hope you get it back

I was waiting on a uni cert being posted a few years back. It was sent recorded delivery. I didn't receive it but tracking showed it as an attempted delivery to an address on the other side of the city, then returned to sorting office as no one was home and then collected at the sorting office by who I'm assuming was the person at the address, for which they would have had to show id to prove they were me. Sorting office confirmed id was shown.

No attention paid in many stages of the delivery as my correct address was on the details all along and an id check would have shown the person that collected it wasn't me.

That is mental!

I'd defo hold the post office reliable on that one. Clearly they didn't even check the name on the ID ! That is absolutely scandalous!!

Did you hear anything back?
