Slightly different taste as well, but I can live with it and will reluctantly still drink it under protest.
 
The Scottish Daily Express continues its policy of scaring its core readership, i. e. old people, with dire weather headlines - snow to sweep across Scotland, icy pavements, frost etc.
As per usual, the small print goes on: "it will be deepest in the Western Highlands but could spread over the country for a period."
Starts on the 11th apparently.
I'll take extra care if I'm up Ben Nevis around that date.
 

Royal Mail :rant:
I ordered an item online, which was dispatched on Wednesday (tracker No. provided)
On Thursday it had "arrived at Warrington Mail Centre" (about 4 miles away) and 'expected delivery' to my address was 'between 1PM and 3PM Friday' - Didn't arrive obviously.
Just checked the tracker again - apparently it has now "Arrived at Romford Mail Centre" (220 miles away)

Update-
It was scanned in Warrington at 08.21AM on Thursday and in Romford at 10.15AM yesterday.
As of 11.15AM this morning it is again in Warrington 🤷‍♂️

I mean it's nothing important.
(I'm just hoping she hasn't been punctured in transit. :blush:)

I sent an item back with Royal mail last week and ticked option of Royal mail providing the returns label,
Postie turns up, no label
Had to rearrange delivery after getting the supplier to send me a print at home label.
Postie turns up collects parcel, scans it in front of me, happy days
Friday evening i get an email saying we called at 15.42p.m (time it was picked up!) And your parcel wasn't available for collection!!
Cant do nothing till tomorrow now
 
In crisis, unfit for purpose and outstaying their welcome are all modern cliches that can readily be applied to Royal Mail and the Post Office too for that matter.
I don't know anyone who thinks first or second class stamps are worth the paper they're made from.
It's time to disband both organisations.
 
What on earth is going on with Subway self serve computer thingies? Got to be the most badly designed unnecessary creation known to man. Every time I try I always still have to speak to the human to get my order sorted.

They make me so mad.
