minor things that make you fume

Breaking my phone the day before i meet up with a lady for a date. Unable to see the screen and now realizing that i won't have a replacement phone for another 3 days, that she will likely think im ignoring her, i decide to create a facebook account (yep my first one), to find her and explain about my broken phone.... blah blah.

Anyway the fume isn't so much the broken phone (well sort of). The real fume is that when i received my replacement phone in the mail and logged into my account. I had a load of facebook requests from the nobs ive been swerving all these years from not having an account. As im a nice guy, i now simply cannot ignore them and just deactivate the account. ffs

Speaking to the assistant production manager about how a batch of fish is potentially unsafe because it hasn't been cooked properly. He suggests that he will will speak to a chef to get their opinion because they can judge if food is safe or not. I not so politely reminded him that I have a degree in food science, 20 years experience and a whole bunch of data sitting right in front of him which proves it wasn't cooked properly.
Some quick backtracking and the food gets thrown out "because it's a bit tough"

D***head

My missus turning the heat up in the house to sub Sahran temps - she's just done it now !

Me turning the heat up, and my missus turning it down without me noticing. Until it's freezing again and I go silently mad.

It's like a cold war (ha) is going on in this house.

When will she realise 23 degrees Celsius is the way forward.

No way.

I'd hate living with you.

My wife has it at around 22 degrees and I can't breathe!! It should never, ever EVER go above 20 degrees.

Ever.

My wife is part Jamaican though, so I blame that...quietly.
