minor things that make you fume

My bank has locked my credit card three times now despite me saying I'll be in a different state (the same one three times). They claim it protects me against fraudulent activity. Every time I have to call them they force me to listen to offers for special products after making me go through the last 10 transactions and a few other flaming hoops to prove I am the cardholder.

I look like an idiot when my card gets declined because of their nonsense. Today when I called I took the head off the agent. I snapped. Absolutely gaped this poor guy. I know they record this stuff so I made a full-blown "meltdown call of the year" nomination entry. He probably needed 3 or 4 other agents to come out of their cubicles to console him.

I know they are locking the card to get me to call so they can try to sell me crap. I'm not having it anymore. That guy is probably going home a wreck after what I did but again, you make me look like an

That Fleur East song called Sax.

It is on the every radio station seemingly constantly. I went through a red light to try find a station that it wasn't on yesterday!

Got rid of my card that had no common sense. Went to England, had called ahead to let them know and still go blocked after my first transaction. Called to warm my new card last time I went home and they seemed confused as to why someone would need to tell them they're going away from home.
Never ruined someone's day though ;)

What's weird is they've only just started doing this. I move around a lot and it was not until I had to go to Ohio they started freezing the account. Maybe that's so far outside my usual pattern but I do believe it's an excuse for them to sell me crap I don't need. If it happens again I'm switching banks. Not like they have any loyalty to me so I'm not sure why I have any loyalty to this one.

And I do feel bad about that phone call. Oh well.

Through a combination of illness and lethargy, i`m struggling for enthusiasm for tonights drinky session.
Oh for the days of youth when nothing would stop me going out.
I hate getting old.

my phone pretty much packed in. charging it would just smell like burning, then the other night the bottom buttons stopped working, and the following day my screen went. 2 days of just green on the screen getting worse and unusable. bought a new phone today to make do and pick it up tomorrow.

so makes sense my buttons now work and screen has come back to life despite being on its are a few hours ago!

Not being able to remember family members! I'm terrible for it, if I don't see one for a couple of years I forget they exist.
That's just the way I like it. I've become a bit of a pariah in my own family for completely avoiding the majority of them for many years. Fact is, I just don't like them very much.

Went to the cinema earlier with Mrs Block and the fat sod sat next to me who came in loaded down with beer, nachos and dip, and a huge bucket of popcorn left most of strew all over the floor... scruffy melt.
