minor things that make you fume

feeling sick from hunger.

got no money on me to go and buy anything to eat either. All i have is my lunch and an orange.
Drink some water. The hunger pangs reside after a while.

FWIW I have my breakfast around 7am, and have a second bowl of cereal at work around 10.30. Tides me over til lunch. A basic box of cereal from Tesco is only about a pound, and lasts a week.

i'm currently drinking a coffee to curb it, had green tea and water earlier.

Felt a bit weird as well, probably my blood sugar dropping before the fruit could kick back in? No idea, just speculating there.

Could be worse mate, I drank two bottles of Lucozade on Sunday and went all weird, felt like I was going to slip into some sort of coma. I should probably educate myself on sugar levels, glucose and such.

don't think i am clued up myself on the subject. Only really that the fruit sugar probably spikes me enough every day enough to get me through to lunch. Otherwise the lack of sugar in my diet these days is alarming

ahh well, can't get diabetes if you don't eat sugar ;)

I joke, i have no idea whether that is true or not

Getting a call from the kids school at 2pm this afternoon to be told that my halfwit daughter, who broke her arm being a halfwit last week, has been mucking about with the cast and it's come down over her hand, and 'someone really needs to take a look at it'. I make my excuses with work (not easy, being a consultant, I probably should've booked it as half-day) and legged it for the train. 1 hour later I'm picking the kids up from the school reception sweating and absolutely seething.

Get home, tell my daughter to try and pull the cast back down over her arm. 10 seconds later, it's back in place. Unbelievable. When asked how it happened, she told us she'd tried to pull it off. Instead of trying to just pull it back on, she tells a teacher and they go into full panic mode.

Not sure who I'm more angry with - my daughter for being such a monumental nob, or the school for being so over-reactive and refusing to apply a bit of common sense. They knew it was an incredibly minor fracture and a bit of effort wasn't going to make her arm fall off.

KIDS! ARGH!
Typifies the blame culture. The teachers were probably terrified incase they injured her.

lol yeah and be hungry later on.

To be honest ate my lunch before, it was crap. Was basically lettuce and fish, very boring tbh, yesterday i put sweet chilli on it at least.
Lettuce and fish, very healthy Squire.

Well all I am eating today is 1 pre-packed salad, a pack of 150g cooked chicken, a handful of peanuts and a pretzel and that's it between 8am and 7pm.

A car parked in the middle of 2 spaces.
Supermarket car parks where the spaces are deliberately drawn ridiculously narrow. If I try to squeeze into one (which is just about possible), I invariably come back to find that oxygen thieves have parked either side of me so close that I can't open my doors. So now I either park further away from the entrance and take up two spaces, or I use a parent and child space. Hate me all you like.
