minor things that make you fume

I can go to a self checkout, and they're empty, as soon as I get there...the mob arrives.

"Boooooo, hissssssss, Kill him" they say as I can't find the bar code on a tin of beans.
I've only tried using them things once, i picked a bag up before i was supposed to or something and it malfunctioned. So I'll stick with lining up to get served by a cashier lying to myself that I'm only doing that to keep someone in a job while enviously watching people scan their stuff and get out while I'm stuck in the queue.

Best move mate. It's not worth the stress.

If used to play footy with a lad years ago, who worked as a manager for Aldi.

He lasted about six months before having a near nervous breakdown.

You don't work for them, they own you !

Yeah I heard similar things. Tbf though I think this is the case with most big corporations, they take your soul.

Oh and work in construction. Most of my good mates are engineers and they work in construction; things like site supervisor and such. The things you hear from them; it's like the entire business is filled with sociopaths. It's also like a ladder of abuse. You get yelled at; they start yelling at the subcontractor. Lots of yelling all round.

I remember looking at their graduate schemes when I finished uni and they were offering like £10k a year more than the average. I did wonder why!

Fair play. I'm single and live alone, house always needs a 5 minute "panic clean" if i find out someone is coming round.

@modz the big city lad is bullying me with his swanky branded coffee!
I don't drink coffee mert . Filthy stuff . Nice cup of tea for this fat fella

I understand just pointing out some hidden costs like at the 70 K car you'd probably have to change the timing belt some time soon and while you're at it some other stuff. This is expensive.

Don't know how long you want to drive the thing but maybe in the midlong term it's cheaper to increase your budget a bit /borrow some money.
As the wife has got a new job, and this car should hopefully be used very infrequently, I'll be looking to replace it next year anyway. It's a stopgap, nothing more.
