What makes you think they're disposable? They separate from the handle to allow you to use different rollers for different jobs, but if they were disposable they'd be made of cardboard not plastic.

And as it happens, today's job (white) was with a roller I've previously used for royal blue.

Washed thoroughly, though tedious, it can be used indefinitely.
