Any manager worth his salt leaves a malingerer out of the starting eleven. Just because a few fans have been hoodwinked into believing Mirallas gives a toss doesn't mean the people who make the decisions have. Mirallas took away his own game time by not performing in training or when he got a chance.

Not accepting someone has an alternate opinion to your own is what I'd consider rude. Simple as that as you succinctly put it.
I'll agree with you on one thing - we'll stick to our own opinions.
 
This is a sore subject for me. Mirallas has had his moments this season, but he has also had a negative impact in several games. I think the biggest problem is the way Martinez has handled Mirallas; he wants to make an impact but he lost so much time that you can tell he is discouraged after the way he was snubbed repeatedly to start the season. His confidence just isn't there, and it isn't just Mirallas at this point; the whole team has lost hope. Martinez needs to go IMO

go to many private training sessions do you?
 
It speaks more to Mirallas' lack of professionalism, rather than anything to do with Martinez.

I'm sure there's a load of players with a problem with Roberto right now - it's telling that Mirallas is the only one doing crap like this.

The players should just do their jobs and let the off the field stuff resolve itself.

Mirallas was poor well before this season.

And he lost any and every right to play the "I deserve a chance" card at West Ham.
 
I had no issue starting Cleverly over Mirallas and by in large Cleverly played well, but he did look out on his feet in the last 10 mins and the sub should have been made sooner.

Hes not that good. The was a reason nobody came in with a concrete offer for him in the summer, there is also a reason why he was plying his trade in the Greek league before we signed him. He obviously has some talent but he is wildly inconsistent. Id use him as our back up striker if anything.
