I'm not so sure about the mirralas shouts. we were on top and threatening, but the whole reason we were on top is because the likes of mccarthy, cleverly, stones and jags were hounding the the united midfield and winning the ball back. If we would have subbed say cleverly for mirralas (another out and out attack minded player) i think united would have completly took over the midfield and dominated possession. I dont think we would have had half the chances due to not having much of the ball. I know we ended up losing but martinez cant see into the future, he has to play the here and now and the fact is the players he had on the pitch were doing good enough and making enough chances to score a couple more.
Good defence with a fair points of an inconsistent player. He does need games to be decent but I think he's better offloaded to a Stoke or West Ham where he'd be first team and add something.
Some are so quick to have a pop at the player. His manager has done far more damage to the club than he ever has and the lads career has gone backwards under this fool.
To bring him on for 45 seconds was an insult to Mirallas and shows how clueless the man in charge is.
It worked so well that we lost 2-1.This! There really was no need to change anything as what we were doing was working.
Mirallas is hardly Pele in his prime either.

I just think if Mirallas had the chances that the Clev had we'd be in an FA Cup final. That a very simplistic viewpoint.

Baffles me the fans think having two wingers on will suddenly make things alright. He takes Cleverley off and we lose the control we had on the game. Mirallas and Del on together doesn't work. How many times do people have to watch them together to realise we don't actually win many football matches. Cleverley's the new Osman, has a good game but takes the brunt of fans moans because he's not a foreign winger who has a good game every 3 months.
Mirallas is is the biggest fraud at GP by a long way..get him out of our club. We stepped up when Geri came on, forcing United onto the back foot and making them take off their young full back. We had enough chances to win, and in the second half, well, maybe its too late for Martinez, but there were signs that we had got our mojo back. Its all about if this and if that, but we lost a close semi final against a team that has luckily found three very good young fast attackers, and a manager who by accident or design, realised that playing Rooney deeper gave his young attackers plenty of options to shine.
Whatever the future for OUR manager and some of OUR players, as supporters of a great football club, we pick our selves up, stay proud, don''t whinge, and move on. Heres to the next time.
Charming.I didn't say he'd played the 90 minutes....I said over the 90 minutes he was our best player....the English language isn't too difficult to grasp. If you thought he was very, very poor you either watched I a different game or supped too much ale.
With one crucial difference: Martinez took away all Kev's game time. It's kinda hard to score goals and make assists if the manager won't put you on the field. And the last two seasons? Martinez is rightly getting pelters for his last two seasons after a great first season....this biff is the same.
