Gibson was poor, crablike most of the time, his pass completion ratio I suspect was very low and he made just one tackle and inevitably ended up hurt.
Sorry to disagree when there are much more important issues that need addressing, but I sincerely and honestly hope that yesterday was the last time I ever see Gibson representing Everton FC at any level of football.

Er, mate. Gibson made the most tackles out of anyone on the pitch (5) and also had the second highest passing percentage for us (89.8%).

Well, I stand corrected on those two points then.

But I stand solid on hoping he never plays for us again, I wouldn't have him on a subbuteo team if I'm honest with you.
Not trying offend anyone who rates him, I don't and nothing will change my mind.

I will however always be grateful for the goal he bagged against City that I listened to at 2am in the morning when living in Khartoum, that was a memorable moment for me, but not the rest on my apartment building as I went off like a bottle of pop and woke everyone up

His pas completion was 90% and he completed the most tackles on the pitch

I didn't say he'd played the 90 minutes....I said over the 90 minutes he was our best player....the English language isn't too difficult to grasp. If you thought he was very, very poor you either watched I a different game or supped too much ale.

In the dreadful first half, Gibson was one of the few that seemed to have any idea. Just like he was in the Southampton game. Not a huge fan of his, but happy to give him credit where it was due.
