Mirallas return

no i ant,its a fierce league alot faster than the greek league. When he been out for as long as he has with hamstring problem it should be obvious not to be starting him so soon.Bringing mirallas on with 20 mins to go when opposition players are getting tired he can get ample time to to stretch him hamstring gradually instead of starting games where players are fast and fierce.Yeh he should be fitter but he isn't at moment has he been injured for a few months.I would rather him come on for 4 games as a substitute than him starting games.liming off then be out injured for another 5/6 games.

Totally disagree with this whole post. By your way of thinking anyone who comes from a slower league will get injured because its faster and more fierce. Player come from all over the world to play in this league and dont have serious recurring injury problems.

............I started a thread on here a couple of months ago about how poor our recuperation results where in comparison with others and got shouted down. More recently I predicted thar Mirallas' muscalar problems could return if he wasn't properly prepared. I hate to say that this fear has been realised.
Players cost thousands per week and a club like ours can't afford to have them out for weeks on end. Medical strategy comes from the club doctor and the stats on our recovery rates is dreadful. This is important and its time that the profile of these inadequencies was raised and challenged.

To be fair, i imagine City have the best doctors in the world, yet Rodwell has still had recurring hamstring injuries. Wilshere was out for over a year with an ankle knock, as was Huddlestone at Spurs. Lucas came back for Liverpool after ages out and immediately got injured again. Ben Arfa has been out for way longer than expected at Newcastle. I think our record just seems worse because we are focused on our team.

Surely he has been in full training though - which would involve all the things you would physically do in a game and he wasn't subject to a late fitness test. Therefore, why wouldn't he have started?

As any pro footballer will tell you, you can do all the training in the world, but it doesn't replicate playing. Let's face it, 6 weeks out, you cant expect a lad to start a game, with just that cameo at Southampton, under his belt. Poor decision by moyes or medical staff or both!

Absolute tosh from anyone blaming Moyes or Medical team. The lads been out for months. He should be well ready. He lastest 17minutes this is the 5th time hes lasted at most 45 minutes. Hes injury prone. Enough said.

Injury prone since hes joined Everton

And what difference does that make? Hes injury prone. Possibly one of the worst we've ever had. All this stats thrown about how hes never really been injured before...... Well since hes been here hes been nothing but!

How anyone is blaming Moist for this is beyond me.

Lad had 6 weeks out, 30 mins against Southampton. He was probably going to get the hook for Naysmith or Marvin at 60 mins

hes picked up an injury within his first 6 months of being here and already we are writing him off

Injury prone for me would be over the next 2-3 seasons him being out every 6-7 games with a knock
