Mirallas return

When i was a kid back in the 80s, if a player was coming back from injury he would play 2 or 3 in the reserves before being eased back into 90 mins for the 1st team., but the pressure on teams especially when fighting for Euro places like we are and having a small squad like we do, means players like Mirallas will be rushed back, its a shame we havent got the resources to be able to do it that way.

And what difference does that make? Hes injury prone. Possibly one of the worst we've ever had. All this stats thrown about how hes never really been injured before...... Well since hes been here hes been nothing but!

Jesus talk about an over-reaction at this stage!! "Possibly one of the worst we've ever had". I really despair at times about some of our fans.....I just wonder what people like you did before the advent of internet message boards. If you were down the pub with your mates and said that they'd tell you to stop over-dramatising, or more colloquially "shut up you pr!ck and give the lad a chance"

You know what all these injures with Kev started after Suarez stamped on him at the derby.

He was injured then and since then hasn't been able to play more then half an hour. Strange that coz Suarez stood on his ankle so it wasn't that. So why since then has his hamstring turned chocolate?

And also I'd like to say I think our medical team is poor.

Get Nigel Adkins in.

He didn't miss a single game because of that.

I'm not overly worried about him, just frustrated. At least, we need to get this thing sorted before next season. It's getting daft now.

To be fair, i imagine City have the best doctors in the world, yet Rodwell has still had recurring hamstring injuries. Wilshere was out for over a year with an ankle knock, as was Huddlestone at Spurs. Lucas came back for Liverpool after ages out and immediately got injured again. Ben Arfa has been out for way longer than expected at Newcastle. I think our record just seems worse because we are focused on our team.
Shows how difficult it is to access a hamstring injury as Rodwell passed his medical and the problem started again

I dont go down the pub mate and stop inadvertantly giving me abuse. (your last sentence).

Im just stating facts. Hes injury prone and I dont remember anyone coming back from injury and walking off without completing 90minutes twice. If we're going on his appearances so far he is one of the worst we've ever had. At least Van Der Meyde stayed on the injury table. Without hopeless 45minute returns.

Fantastic player but has serious problems.

It just seems to me that pretty much every time we get a player injured there out for ages. It's very rare that our players picks up a knock and there back two weeks later. They get a knock and there out for months. I just think there not doing there job properly either that or moyes just dosnt listen to them.

Nope.

Sorry your right I forgot he played the Fulham game before the Sunderland game.

Listen Brunnan lad. We had this out in the main Belg Kev thread and my concerns have been notched up by this latest cameo appearance. Sicknote

Currently, yes.

Some players have these problems for a little while, maybe you recall Baines had a few niggles at first? And then there was Cahill with his foot.

But I suppose you was standing on the Kop in those days.
