It's unlikely I think. He signed a new contract not long ago and Southampton aren't exactly poor at the moment. He'd cost a fair old whack.

Yeah I get that,but like for like (one in one out) He is only 19,I would quite happily pay over the odds due to his age and potential.

Utd would come in take him off us in 4-5 years time may aswell sign a replacement how will slot in now

He is actually very similar to Distin but better on the ball. Pacy, strong and good in the air. Can play left back but better at centre back
