all in all a terrible futbol and football weekend, but thanks to the crowd at Fenway Park for providing the lone smile. Visiting Mets fans, all clad in blue sparked/joined the Sox fans in a now-familiar chant.
Everton was my fly in the ointment of football paradise. Cubs still up 2.5 over Brewers, closer than anybody would be comfortable with. Just got to keep winning more than losing. Still waiting for Milwaukee to cool off.
It's that's kind of year in the NL Central. The video makes me smile and chant inside.
Rockies / Dodgers starting a 3 game series, their final head-to-head games of the season. R's are up 1/2 a game. 3 games away against the Dodgers, 3 away against the D'backs, then the Phillies and Nats at home to finish the season.
NL West and Wild Card race is going to be interesting.

Not confident about the Rox ability to stay up with the Dodgers - and the D's have the easier schedule for the remainder of the season after this series.

Phils and Nats at home to end, that’ll be dodgy as. Maybe they will rest their arms for 2019, but Christ. Would be w great story, even if I have a soft spot for the Dodgers!
That's exactly the challenge - Dodgers have Padres / Diamondbacks / Giants (not exactly a murderers' row) left while Rox have Diamondbacks / Phills / Nats - while not murderers, certainly capable of committing bodily harm....
I have tickets for one game each of Phils and Nats - should be a fun week.
