I quite like the Bears too. Went to Soldier Field years and years ago. ..but alas my Yankee football heart is with the Giants. Who are also a bit rubbish. But have Odell.

Sorry, it's the best I could come up with after only about 30s googling. I was trying my best not to link up the bastardized Polish toast that Yanks typically think is Ruskie. Sorry if that's too close to what I wrote.
Can you help us out then and provide a better toast for @ijjysmith and @FC sexy xxx as they watch their beloved Metropolitans? Something along the lines of "F * * * off you Mets!" would probably suffice, and might translate well for their other sporting interests.

The Mets have gone about their business quietly this year.
They may just sneak under the radar this year.
The pitching acquisitions have been shrewd, Syndergaard, deGrom staying healthy would be huge and early days but Harvey has shown some promising stuff in ST. Vargas was a big signing, which could be a huge piece in the jigsaw, even if his first stint here was unmemorable.
Swarzak and Blevins in the bullpen will be excellent, but the insistence on using Familia will kill us.
As for the batting side, comforto returning for May will be huge, Frazier, Bruce returning and Cespedes gives us some huge power.
NL wildcard?
I’d say we have every chance.
