I’m lucky in that I’m just old enough to remember my favorite team (Mets) winning it all, but it’s been a pretty dry 36 years since then.
That was a great NLCS in ‘86. If the Astros won game 6, they would have ended up winning the series. Mike Scott dominated the Mets in his two starts. If he went game 7, we were toast

I was in college during that incredible '86 series. It was a heartbreaker for us. If you recall, Mike Scott was the series MVP despite being on the losing team. He was so dominant.
That said, please do us all a favor and have your gajillionaire owner buy Aaron Judge so we can all enjoy even more tears from Yankees fans.
