Very impressive. I think Edwin Diaz is starting to look excellent now, finally producing what they hoped when he signed. They seem to be performing very well, definitely not missing Conforto and doin well without DeGrom. The Cano move the other day also showed big intentions.

Yeah to absorb $40m of Canó’s contract tells you this organisation are very, very different from the Wilson’s reign. deGrom probably comes back in for Walker who has started with his post All Star game form from last year. Main difference is game management and the approach at the plate and that is all down to Buck.

Diaz still has his moments but he’s grown so much since his first year with us.

Well the real Mets have finally showed up. First 3 game losing streak of the season. 2 swept series handed out by the Astros in the space of a weeks Bats have gone very, very quite and the pitching staff are all over the shop. Walker’s performance today has been the only bright spot from the mound for about a week.

Braves will end up winning the NL EAST by about 10 games again.

We’re gonna have to trade something big from the farm for seem pitching talent before the deadline.
