Can't quite believe what's going on with the Blue Jays, but I like it!

David Price got his second W in his second start for us with a 6-0 win in the Bronx today. We're now just 2.5 games back on the dark side (Yankees obvs) in the AL East and 3 games clear in the wild card standings. Bosh.

Cubs complete four game sweep of a good Giants team at Wrigley. We could be ahead of schedule.

Starlin Castro is riding the pine, and we get THIS in the lineup day in and day out.

Kyle Schwarber, you jewel, show the nice folks what you do for a living.

This is like that video of Deulofeu scoring at Arsenal. I could watch this all night.

RATPIES sporting the Dock Ellis throwbacks tonight.

This kit brings the memories rushing back.

Oh yeah, and #21 beating Baltimore. Go ahead, try to get to third base. You can make it.

With that run differential it was inevitable they'd go on a run.

RATPIES sweep Dodgers, SCUB sweeps Giants. Big series against the Cards coming up.

You can't? Money talks... and the Blue Jays have spent so much money trying to perfect their side, that it's just power bats and awesome pitching now. Even Dickey is starting to get his form back, but seriously.... Tulo, Donaldson, Bautista and Encarnacion as the opening 4 in the lineup? Christ I am glad we don't have to face the Jays at the moment. The Yankees aren't a bad side, but they got ruined by the Jays.

Mets are starting to pull away from the Nats now. Showed some tenacity in last nights win against Tampa, honestly thought we'd blew it in the 9th.

On another note, how strong is the NL central? The joke in Back to the Future 2 about the cubs winning the series mightn't actually be that far off!!!!!

You had to curse it didn't you?

Syndergaard doesn't pitch well on the road, and Colon is too inconsistent. The idea to put Johnson at RF, and missing that catch, was so huge on Sunday. Will be huge to get a big win tonight against the Rockies. If we can come out 6-1, 5-2 from this home stand i'll be happy. Niese has been pitching well, I expect that to go tits up tonight.

Its also MLB.com free game of the day, so tune in at midnight!

Hopefully the Rockies third baseman will continue his fielding form. He had two go right through his legs, Buckner-style, yesterday. I was fuming.

More the fact that we have actually gone 'all in'. The last few years we've had the makings of a winning side but haven't spent big to gamble on the final few pieces. Exciting times this year!

All must bow before the mighty NL Central. Look upon your fates and weep. SCUB with third best record in the division, fourth best in baseball, RATPIES second in division, third in baseball. That's better than all AL teams except the Royals.

Pirates/Cardinals brings us joy, no matter the winner - still, always looking for a rare RS loss. A great finish shaping up here. Cutch was clutch last night, more of this against the RS.

The NL Central has officially got ridiculous. The combined records of the Cards, Pirates and Cubs over the past games 10 is 25-5. Three of those losses are to each other.
