I think it’s because a lot of people are fed up with you derailing threads with a lot of irrelevant posts. You seem to lack a basic understanding of what football means to a lot people on here and then label people who don’t care about xG or watch other leagues (why would they they’re Everton fans?) “brainless” and try to laud it over folk.

Then don't respond to them. Put me on ignore. Anytime anyone posts anything that expresses an opinion that might be slightly different or that represents real knowledge they get slaughtered. But a board is about expressing opinions and dialog. I try to actually consider what others right. Others don't. I don't even look at the poster most of the time.

The point was that I love the game and watch it as often as I can. That I like it. I don't just stare at stats and spreadsheets. It's ironic for posters to bag on anyone for staring at spreadsheets too much when that someone is watch and enjoying more footy than them.
Watching a lot doesn't make you qualified to analyze a game or a player. Coaching licenses help. Reading books on tactics can't hurt.
