CRIMHEAD
Player Valuation: £40m
Unless he plays deeper, which he can at least somewhat. That's as much on Silva as it is on Gylfi. That's what I'm getting at. It isn't quite 4-4-2 with Gylfi but it's closer than people realize.

Yeah about 25 years of youth football. Never would I drop a player into a team, as is being suggested, without them at least watching how the team played.Have any of us?
Is your point that if you haven’t coached a Football team, the managers opinion is always superior? Did you take that stance when Koeman or BFS were in charge?
I hope that's true. But I'm concerned that if you move Gylfi away from the box he starts to give you very little. At least on current evidence that's the case.Unless he plays deeper, which he can at least somewhat. That's as much on Silva as it is on Gylfi.
I would probably not do the same. But these guys are professionals, it might be a bit different, but it certainly isn't setting him up for success.Yeah about 25 years of youth football. It's definitely hard to argue. Again, I was advocating for getting either Doucoure or someone like him and putting Gylfi up as a candidate for the inside forward positions. Push Gomes up higher. Iwobi was a good buy, though, he's a good player.I hope that's true. But I'm concerned that if you move Gylfi away from the box he starts to give you very little. I would still value their opinion over anybody on here ..myself included.Have any of us?

So you would be happy with another 34 0-0s, after all it is just 34 football matches.
I promote.Lol and it’s got what ? To do with you lol
By the bye, question mark after you have finished not in the middle of the sentence.Lol and it’s got what ? To do with you lol

Allardyce has decades of managerial experience behind him as has Koeman who is the manager of a top international team.
I think in a debate with them most fans would realise the absolute gulf in knowledge and understanding of the game
They are experienced professionals at is what you would expect.
Of course, but still a guy like Allardyce though has simply stopped learning. There's no question. He's completely convinced in the way he wants to play and rejects anything else. Heck, he openly mocks it.I would still value their opinion over anybody on here ..myself included.
