Have any of us?

Is your point that if you haven’t coached a Football team, the managers opinion is always superior? Did you take that stance when Koeman or BFS were in charge?
Yeah about 25 years of youth football. Never would I drop a player into a team, as is being suggested, without them at least watching how the team played.

I would probably not do the same. But these guys are professionals, it might be a bit different, but it certainly isn't setting him up for success.

I hope that's true. But I'm concerned that if you move Gylfi away from the box he starts to give you very little. At least on current evidence that's the case.
It's definitely hard to argue. Again, I was advocating for getting either Doucoure or someone like him and putting Gylfi up as a candidate for the inside forward positions. Push Gomes up higher. Iwobi was a good buy, though, he's a good player.

I would still value their opinion over anybody on here ..myself included.

Allardyce has decades of managerial experience behind him as has Koeman who is the manager of a top international team.
I think in a debate with them most fans would realise the absolute gulf in knowledge and understanding of the game
They are experienced professionals at is what you would expect.

I think holland basically ran out of options. And koeman was so poor at club management he was available.

Of course, but still a guy like Allardyce though has simply stopped learning. There's no question. He's completely convinced in the way he wants to play and rejects anything else. Heck, he openly mocks it.

Now i don't know that for a fact, but I'll still take whoever is first in their class at the last UEFA Pro License course over Sam Allardyce any day of the week, even if he has 25 fewer years of experience.

Quite surprised by his nickname :o

He basically has said...hes coming...and premier league teams should watch out...

Thats the gist of it.
