There's nothing wrong with going out wide at every opportunity if you've got the players to do it, that is basically Liverpool's entire strategy and it works wonders for them as their delivery from their full backs is unbelievable and Mane and Salah are their main threats.
For us however it's just laughably naive. We have Richarlison as one of our wingers who you get the impression would much rather be attacking central spaces, we have Sigurdsson playing as some ridiculous second striker meaning he's practically in a different post code to the rest of the midfield and is certainly in a catch 22 as attacking the box in the style of someone like Tim Cahill certainly isn't his game at all.
So far in his career, Kean has played in a team that had virtually wrapped up the league title by Christmas so he was playing with very little pressure on his shoulders. Not to mention he was surrounded by superstar footballers. What we've asked from him so far has been unfair. Having said that, he has more talent in his left foot alone than DcL has in his whole body so we absolutely shouldn't be compromising playing time for Kean by letting Calvert-Lewin carry on failing.
