2019/20 Moise Kean

Just been reading through the last 10 pages or so and I am flabbergasted some are writing him off already.

We need to give him more time. It.could be also Silvas tactics don't work for his style of game

Its not the tactics, hes a 19 year old playing in a new country, in possibly the hardest league in Europe for the first time.

He just needs a few goals to take the pressure of and find his feet.

Very shallow reasoning, how many games has Kean gone without a goal compared to Sandro ? Yes I thought so.

Sandro played 349 league minutes before we dumped him out - Kean has 252 so far

I think Kean will be a very good player for us, and prove to be a considerably wiser buy than Sandro was - but let's not fool ourselves, pretty much every Evertonian was buzzing when we secured the Sandro transfer. There is no guarantee that Kean will settle as well as we all hope he will, its just a case of fingers crossed - And Sandro is the perfect cautionary tale to highlight this.

The lad has (at 19) come to a new country , with a new language , playing in a new league. He will obviously take time to settle.
Unfortunately this has happened during possibly our easiest ever start to a season , and this opportunity to bed him in has been totally wasted by our coach (or whatever his job title is) , Silva.
I have no doubt that Moise will come good. Whether it is here with this coach , here with a new / better coach , or elsewhere, only time will tell.

Young, skilful, in a tough league, looks a decent prospect. NOT a Graeme Sharp type Centre-forward so our main tactic being crosses from overlapping full backs is not exactly going to get the best out of him. City coming out to play will be a novel experience for him though since virtually every other opposition has sat back and defended deep against us so maybe he will find some space and get some decent service tomorrow.

Should never have been starting games this early, impact player off the bench for now.
I know he hasn't scored yet but in the PL he's been better than DCL in the areas of striker play that correlate into scoring goals going forward. The problem is not him, it's the creativity behind him. He will come good if we can figure out the attacking play more generally.

Altho we will only have 30% to 40% of the ball i actually think the lad will get more space today and could be a real handful for them. As well city will play a high line. he hasn’t really got the experience expect him to know the arlarse tricks that will get the better of teams that play 2 banks of 4. He is quite raw and wants the ball in front of him to run at teams. If he starts will be throwing a cheeky fiver on 1st goal

I think it was obvious Sandro was absolute turd with the game against Chelsea away when he basically tripped over himself and claimed a free kick and then had a shot which went out for a throw lol
