2019/20 Moise Kean

Wouldn't surprise me if he's got no confidence at all, sat on the bench watching that cart horse Calvert Lewin leading the line and performing horribly.

Then when he does get on, Kean is surrounded by clueless idiots who can only play one style of football, which is in no way set up to his strengths.

Way to ruin a promising young striker.

That's the spirit.

I think it’s much more likely that he’s sat there thinking what the hell am I doing here.

Sadly 27m wasted. The lad is never gonna succeed isolated up front chasing lost balls to the wings and trying to win headers from crosses which are directly aimed for the corner flags every game. It’s not his game. Silva will destroy him.

“Never succeed” but then place all the reasoning on the manager.

Surely if the manager changes there’s a chance he’ll succeed.

Said it weeks ago. Say to the lad, right your starting the next 10 games. We will see judge and discuss then

Like so many before, starts a game and is then benched following week

We spent weeks of the summer talking and getting excited about him and now we never see him

I agree. Under Silva the lad won’t progress. His style is not suited to Silvas. If Silva wanted a striker who runs around a lot and chases lost balls and can win the occasional header he’d have been better off signing a Ricardo Fuller type striker.

....regardless of whether we play in a way that suits him, regardless of his age, regardless of his experience, regardless that he’s in a new country, regardless that he’s in a new league, regardless the manager might not be good;

he still gets possession of a football on the pitch wearing an Everton shirt. I sincerely want him to do something really good when that happens. I’ll be happier then.

How are some of you writing the lad off already, he has touch and speed and looks dangerous going forward.

He’s not 100% poise just yet but he has the mind for finishing and you can see that from the shots he takes on and the positions he gets himself in.

Maybe actually playing games will help.

He's the type of striker you buy to supplement a striker in his prime scoring boat loads.

Was madness to buy him and basically rely on his to lead the line. He isn't good enough for that yet. New league, young as hell, any other good team and we would have zero pressure to perform and just develop.

Instead his confidence is gonna be shot, hopefully it's salvageable
