2019/20 Moise Kean

He just doesn´t look ready. Needs to have a big impact from the bench in the last 20 minutes or grab a goal when he comes in to build his confidence up. Right now, I think if he started he´d look a little bit lost.

You can´t complain that he only got three minutes, the team was playing well and he hasn´t had much of an impact all season.
Well why bring him on at all, three minutes !! Although in that three minutes he fought and won two or three tackles. One of his rare starts was against an ale house defence, Sheffield United, a young centre forward not used to the style in this country against two or three auld arse giant defenders and getting the ball played up to him with a slow moving midfield that was providing next nothing in service, would have been a different scenario with half an hour yesterday with a few chances getting created.

I think he was just pointing out its hard to really judge anything off him, he did put himself about for the second goal like.

Had we gone 2-0 up earlier in the game I think he would have come on earlier. So far all the good chances have fallen to DCL. Hopefully Kean has some service and we can see whether he can finish.

All you can do is judge him by his last outing.

From sub for the goal he kept the ball well and held it until the right time to pass and keep Richarlison onside. He thenbattled to get possession back - which lead to a goal.

it’s enough to be Warranted first/second sub next game if the situation is appropriate

We were just disrupting the flow of the game and getting some fresh legs out there in the final minutes. I don't think the subs were made because we needed Kean and/or Sigurddson to come up with the second goal, just a bonus that they did.

....I watched Richarlison at Goodison in his first season, he was terrific.
He was terrific now and again, very good sometimes as well as having some very poor games and had a good spell when he never scored. In his first season with Watford when he was roughly the same age as Kean he scored five or six goals early on then never scored the rest of that season, he hasn’t done much this season up to now, he’s got ability but is inconsistent.

Could have gone the other way that our attack went stale with him up front and we ended up on the back foot though. Only thing we know is he's a young lad adapting on and off the field. He'll get plenty of chances between now and the end of the season, there's no rush with him.

Well although we eventually didn’t need the second goal, every Evertonian in the ground was relieved when we got one, especially when they nearly equalised from a corner ( again) that shouldn’t have been given.

There were times when we were on the back foot in the second half. I’m saying there are times to give him more than three minutes and one of them, in my opinion was yesterday. By the way Danny, imagine the stick the kid would have got if he had been responsible for an error that led to a WHU goal in the short time he was on the field, especially on here.

I don't think anyone is on his back apart from the odd crank. I think the best time to bring him on will be when we're we are well on top and need a goal with half an hour to go. Make himself a hero and all that.
