2019/20 Moise Kean

Would have rather seen him with sidibe behind him, it's been noticeable how hardly anyone has looked great with Seamus behind them

It helps that when Sidibe pushes forward he does it slightly in-field, so doesn't run into the back of the winger on the touchline. Subtle but clever.

DCL has had his chance and failed. Give Kean a proper run in the starting 11.

6 goal in 12 games for Juve, he deserves a chance.

DCL has got 5 in 6 (I think, I have just plucked that number from this place) for the the team he is actually playing for this season as opposed to getting 6 in 12 for a different team in a different league a season ago.

I like Kean and I think people writing him off already are ridiculous but at this exact moment in time of course DCL is the better option. Kean will get his chance when and if DCL reverts back to type and then hopefully he will take his chance, we do not have the luxury of carrying a player trying to play his way back in to form right now.

....he’s getting chances, it’s down to him to take it. DCL came on against Brighton and scored, he took his chance. Kean was given a start on Tuesday and didn’t take his.

Players need to earn the right to start, you don’t play them every week and hope.

He was played on the wing not as a striker where he should be.

Harsh to judge him when he's being played out of position or 15 minutes a match.

This is exactly what what everton does though lol

DCL was an absolute trainwreck prior to his little run of goal scoring form and yet still got lots of starts prior to that where he never came close to scoring. Give Kean the same run of games and maybe he will find the net as well. Drip feeding him minutes clearly isn’t working.

...you can’t use first team games as trials. The competition for the striker spot is weak, the manager clearly feels DCL is the best we have based on what he sees on a daily basis. None of them look particularly prolific goalscorers, DCL best fits what Silva wants, although Richarlison’s performance against West Ham was far superior to any of them.

it might be unpopular, but I can see why Kean is behind in the pecking order. It’s really disappointing.

I'm not sure on the numbers but my overall assessment of DCL is based on this year and last and I feel he isn't no where near the level that's required. His finishing is terrible and his overall game isn't great at all. Kean's potential I feel is far superior to that of DCL. To even make the Juve bench is impossible and he has already represented his country. To progress he needs game time, not 10 minute cameos.

DCL started in his natural position, Kean didn't. DCL had last and this year to prove his worth and he has failed in my opinion. I get your point and I would agree if I could see any potential in DCL. But, I think he is terrible.

He wouldn't start for any other team in the league.
