Getting a run in the team is the only way he will adapt and gain confidence, 15-20 minute cameos in a team that’s generally been struggling all season is not the way to do it, and the longer it goes on the worse it will get. Tell him he will start him every game for the next 5/6 then I’m sure we will see the player we hoped we had signed with at least a couple of goals under his belt.

He'll be fine once he finds the net.
Hopefully he gets a run up top soon.

Yeah 110% agree. He was never ever going to be an instant success and it’s down to brands for not bringing a more senior striker in to help bring him and DCL on. He has the physical side of the game just need to unlock the potential to it’s fullest and we will see a machine

...interesting that he was ‘never going to be an instant success’. I hoped/thought he would have an immediate impact and I imagine Silva and Brands thought the same.

I’m not sure. You would like to think they realised at 19 years old and being as raw as he so clearly is they would of had it mind. You’ve got to think that he had players like Ronaldo and co round him he is going to score goals. We don’t have that luxury unfortunately
 
Imagine going from sharing a dressing room with arguably the greatest player to play the game in Cristiano Ronaldo, to sharing one with Morgan Schniderlin and Oumar Niasse in just a couple of months...
