It's not as if he's been coming on and had loads of chances put on a plate which he's fluffed.Did people really imagine we'd sign a 19 year old who'd pick the ball up anywhere in the oppositions half and take on multiple defenders to score?

Thats how I've seen it. We've not been great going forward and creating things. Most for DCL has been with his head which isn't Kean's game. The chances DCL has had with his feet he's fluffed for the most part (open goal v Villa, 2 1v1's v Bournemouth).

I'd like to see how Kean gets on with some decent chances and not a tiny sniff of goal.

From the hyperbole that was created when he was signed, yes.

I pointed out I'd never heard of him before we were linked and was ridiculed and was told he was the hottest prospect in world football, not by just one poster either.

I pointed out his goal aim of 7 was pretty uncompetitive for a striker too. Turns out it seems overly ambitious from him!

In a new league

Doubt he even speaks the language

Playing scarce minutes in a failing team. That doesn't play to his strengths.

How on earth can you judge him?

We should have gone for a more established forward but maybe the chance to get this kid and with his potential was too good to turn down? He was never ever going to hit the ground running.

People writing him off before he has had a proper shot at it with someone like Iwobi behind him and richarlison and Bernard (when fit) on each wing he will have chances put on a plate for him and then we will realise his full potential.

writing him off or slagging him off 11 games in is boarder line ridiculous. The team have been ham ding (shabite) all season yet this kid is meant to single handedly carry us people need to wake up and smell the coffee and see that although he came to play this season he was never going to set the world alight. Give it this season and if he doesn’t improve by this time next year then give him down the banks but let him bed in and show us once settled into his new surroundings what he is capable of. He has shown flashes not many admittedly but writing him off so early in his young career is silly
