At worst we were midtable.

Face it: the Martinez years with record points totals and wins and 5th place and Wembley appearances are a golden age now when compared to the Koeman/Brands/Silva era - and having spent half a billion quid for the privilege of getting into the relegation zone.

We were gradually getting worse , yet you ignored this trend for bobby yet use it for everyone else

...and the Wembley / SF appearances?

Midtable "nightmare"...on a relative shoestring budget...was the worst Martinez handed to us.

As said: a golden age compared with the mess Brands is presiding over.

He inherited the best team out of all our mangers , spent more money and I mean a lot more than Moyes , yet took our team backwards . So Moyes was better and facts back that up , yet you don’t like Moyes

Wembley appearances do not equal a good season. We could get to Wembley this season, would you credit Brands for that?

Sacked a few weeks after a Wembley appearance and hovering in midtable.

It's a good job his replacements have been great successes. Well done Mr Moshiri. You showed him.

They havnt been I didn’t want bobby, koeman or Silva. But bobby wasn’t a success either . You keep moaning about only digne being a player “good enough for Everton “ yet you love a guy that signed mgeady, Kone ( twice) , alcaraz ( twice) , niasse , Robles

David, you need to stop using this as if losing to United in the last minute at Wembley in a semi final is something to shout about. Alan Pardew's Crystal Palace made it to the final that season, Steve Bruce's Hull "appeared" in the semi. Losing a game of football at Wembley isn't an achievement.

I dont shout about that, I shout about 72 points.

Inconceivable that we ever piled up 21 wins in a single season.

I said it after Martinez left that we'd never reach that level of win/points total in a season again for a decade or more. I think I'll be right.

‘Squawk 7500’ :)

Start the Kean lad up front and put The Incredible Sulk on the left, Walcott on the right, Iwobi in the 10.
That’ll be enough to blow Soton away on the break
Looks good enough to deal with a lot tougher teams than Soiuthampton
Who is the Incredible Sulk? I can think of at least 6 players who deserve this soubriquet.
