“Going back to Italy in January? I don’t know”
yeah, he’s almost definitely off![]()
I’m saying kean should be given games and pointing out DCL9 was given plenty of chances without producing or showing much . I’m saying kean should be given the same opportunity. 20 mins here and there isn’t really going to do anything to improve his confidence or give him time to adjust. If we were banging goals in then that’s fair enough as the team is doing ok and the person playing up top is part of that. We aren’t through and we know what we are getting with all our other strikers and none are even close to being good enough apart from richy.
Vlasic is a good player, I'd prefer him over Iwobi shame he barely got a chance under Silva or Vlasic had enough of Everton messing him about and even when he played it was on the right wing..Anyone with 2 brain cells can see his time here is already up.
The fanbase are too hopeful on everything - hopeful the manager will suddenly turn good, hopeful Kean will suddenly be given chance after chance (like Vlasic was) all against the evidence shoved right in front of them.
The sooner everyone admits reality the sooner the fans can start demanding the board sorts this club out.
Norwich haven't got the best defence but it's probably going to be harder to break down than Armenia's. If he gets space and the service I don't doubt he'll start scoring.See this is the mad thing, everyone appeals for calm - “He’s only been here 4 months!”, “He needs to learn the language”, “All boss players are late sometime!”
......but he scores two goals against Armenia’s under 21’s and there’s an overwhelming clamour to start him (often from the people urging more balance).
This is something for the young lad to build on. He clearly wasn’t earning his place in the side before, for whatever reason that Marco and the club saw fit to fine him for, he needs to put that right first and then do his talking on the pitch.
Silva has handled Kean poorly and unfairly. There was absolutely no reason for him to be dropped for that Bournemouth game, coming off the back of the Wolves game where he’d started and played ok. But we came back after the international break and he was randomly benched for DCL, since then it’s been crap 10 minute cameos and a start on the right wing in a cup game. If he leaves and ends up going on to be a success elsewhere (which he will do), it’s on Silva’s head.
...DCL will be getting more game time because he offers more when he’s on the pitch. He was left out, brought on as sub and immediately had an impact at Brighton (I think).
Playing as an attacker you’re always in the game, if either full back has it you’re the out ball, any team mate behind you can play it into you or down the channels. Folk complain about too many crosses into the box, and folk complain about not enough crosses in the box. Kean gets chances to show his worth, he’s simply failed to take one so far.
Lost Vlasic, who when given a run made some things happen and looked like he had ability(6 goals and 4 assists in 16....could have used that) and now talk of Kean leaving before we even got to see much of him. The system is broken and Everton cant keep losing young talent due to poor coaching choices. Someone needs to step in.
Kean should be starting against Norwich and if he isnt SIlva needs to answer some questions about it. What a waste
I beg to differ, the elitist attitude of which league is better is strange. Seeing as most premier league players aren't home grown and come from these "inferior" leagues. A good player is a good player regardless of league.6 goals and 4 assists in the Russian league i assume you mean.
Which is absolutely HORRID standard. Vlasic looked like he had something about him and wasn't given a fair go, but saying he's doing well in Russia doesn't warrant him 'being useful these days'.

I'm saying he was a player that clearly showed he had something about him but wasn't given a fair shot, much like Kean. Its a waste of money to buy them, not give them a chance and sell them on for peanuts. Its a poor business model. Changes need to be made.
