2019/20 Moise Kean

I agree. I just think there is a better, less public, way of dealing with it.

I have no issues with it really. I am glad he was annoyed to get subbed, I would be more worried if he wasn't.

He still acted professionally enough about it too, had a moan to himself but came off with minimum fuss. Ferguson said they are going to talk and hopefully it will be a good mentor type talk rather than a rollicking. Could do him the world of good.

(I thought he was doing fine when he came on to be honest...)

I think Ferguson's priority was to get a result (which I'm fine with) and Kean was off the pace. I don't think he was making a statement, he just wasn't arsed about protecting the feelings of a player that couldn't be bothered to try.

Whatever his faults, he’s a 19 year old kid.

Everyone saw Brands say to him mum ‘we’ll look after your son’.

Makes us look pretty stupid... if that’s how we look after someone then I’d hate to see what we did to young kids we didn’t look after.

It’s probably best for all parties if he was shipped out on loan in January. He’s clearly low on confidence and clearly isn’t doing enough in training to suggest he should be getting more playing time here. It will probably do him good going back to Italy playing games and hopefully getting himself a few goals. May make him open his eyes a bit more and come back with a fresh approach and mentality at the beginning of next pre season.

If it’s what Dunc said it was, he would’ve put an arm around him as he came off and said something to him. That he didn’t and just patrolled the area near him without even looking at him tells you everything. Very short-sighted I think, regardless of whether it was the right move for the game.

At the end of the day mate this "young kid" made more this week than most of us do in a year. He's getting paid that much to do a job for us, and as such there are expectations on both sides.

Yes, we'll look after her son, but let's not be under any illusions that him succeeding at the club will be about his performances, not us being nice guys.

Ferguson's job was to get a result, not to care about hurting the feelings of a 19 year old. The ball barely entered our half after the 91st minute and that was cos of the effort being put in.

Also Leicester is a huge match for us so we go with our strongest XI, its not a match for giving those who have shown next to nothing a chance. If we're going to do that do it against Arsenal.

Firstly I should say I really hope this comes back to bite me and Kean turns into a world beater for us. But...

I’m just not seeing it. I remember when deulofeu came and I thought he was outrageously talented but just couldn’t put it all together and so was frustrating. Lukaku has his foibles. Stones could overdo it etc. Looking at Kean though, I’m just underwhelmed. He just hasn’t shown anywhere near enough yet. He’s got ability, clearly, but he’s done nothing whatsoever to suggest he’s the sort of talent we were led to believe.

How was his badly treated? He was subbed? Ferguson could of said bad things about him......he didn’t.....dear me. We are a PL club two points before today above the drop zone with no confidence. There can be no hangers on. This will either be the making of him or he will be sold on. Either way....Dunc made the call for his club. That’s good enough for me.

I was at the game. He did so little running I genuinely thought he was injured.

In one instance we was breaking away and I think it was Richarlison looking up for a runner to put the ball being their defence, and this dope was just strolling forward totally uninterested.

I understand the human side of things, the kid has just been humiliated infront of God knows how many millions of people, but Duncan has a job to do.

I've seen on Twitter that Duncan blanked him, maybe he should of put his arm around the kid I don't know.

I assume that's his Everton career over with. A swap for Piatek could be the best move for everyone.

I’m watching it now as I missed it being at work. When he came on he wasn’t running around at all. You could see iwobi, richarlison and even DCL getting frustrated with him.

hopefully it wAs a one off.

Exactly. He’s a young lad who has ventured from a league where ambling around is far more acceptable and with much less physicality all round.

His attitude wasn’t great today, but instead of reading him the riot act, which will probably result in him wanting to leave, we need to nurture him.

Shamefully, I get a feeling that he’ll be labelled with the Rom tag and deep down we know why many fans do that.
