Anichebe scored 4 goals in 23 appearances in his first season at Everton, Kean currently has 1 in 27, lagging behind Sandro’s 1 in 12.

Technically he scored 1 in 3 in his first season...same as Kean actually!

By their second season Anichebe had 5 in 26 and Kean had 8 in 16.

It doesn't really matter anyway, each case is different.

Worth pointing out that Anichebe was a local lad brought up through our youth system. If he had moved to Italy lets say at the same stage that Kean moved here would his first season abroad be any better? Probably not as they would both have been kids.

I honestly cant say I have been impressed with Kean so far but he has barely been in a position to do anything of note either. I would imagine its quite grim playing up front for us the past couple of seasons. Pretty much have to make your owns chances.

....not sure that matters in current contracts. I think any bonuses are paid to first team squad players regardless of whether they’re involved.
