Well look at it the other way. Tom davis must have been flying in training cause there is no way match time gave him any cause to start. Kean will get 30 mins today

Cm we are limited so it really is between Gomes, Davies and Gylfi who gets the mod so no surprise there.
But Kean ffs, he must have been absolutely turd behind the scenes to not be given a starting place since lockdown and the amount of games we've played

DCL has looked very jaded the last few games (yes with limited service but still). Given we can achieve sweet FA at this point it's surely time to give Kean a start or two I would think.
Difficult to make any kind of impression with occasional cameos, take him off after 70 if needed but perfect time to give him a real chance to play himself in

....I don’t think Ancelotti trusts him, except to chuck him on in a nothing to lose situation. From a purely football perspective, he might be a bit daft.

Can’t remember last time I wanted a player to do well so badly, but I’m getting the increasing feeling it may not happen for him here.
Think we look far more dangerous with him on the pitch, we seem to have more penetration and cutting edge when he’s on.

His physical tools are some of the best in the entire league, but the mental and control aspects arent there yet.
The ball he hit from an awkward angle, well out, not that close to the goal was quite possibly the hardest hit ball Ive seen this season from an Everton player. The amount of power he got on that was seriously impressive, and thats why he was in such high regard. Few other players will ever be able to match that shot power.
