I wouldnt say another chance as I don’t think he’s had a first chance yet. He’s probably played about 6-7 games in total of minutes he’s been on the pitch, that’s not enough time imo

I haven't actually read the article tbh as I don't want to give the rag the benefit of my clicks. But other stuff I've seen previously from them on the transfer front they have never actually come up with any positive news or exclusives. All they do is play down other circulating news, which is a pretty safe stance to take given that 90% of what you see and hear is pure rubbish. It helps give the impression they are in the loop, but when was the last time they broke anything major regarding us?

Well yeah, we would obviously need somebody else to come in. Kean clearly needs game time and I don’t think he’s good enough for us to rely on him at the moment.

I really hope he stays, now that he’s had a season to settle into the club and country I’d love to see him have a proper run under Carlo and then reassess the situation at the end of the season.
I just think he’s an unbelievable talent and really want to see him have a genuine opportunity.

We don't have the budget for a new striker and won't bring in a substantial amount from loaning Kean out.

I both don't think we'll get rid of him and really don't want to.
The kid needs time he's just moved to a foreign country and foreign league to a team in transition he was always gonna take time. He's worth having a bit of patience in and as a 3rd striker you could do a lot worse.

Seems harsh to write kean off given the fraction of game time he's had.

What makes you think he'll be any better than Kean?. The lad struggled at Real Madrid in a team that is far more creative than Everton. His output last season was similar to Kean, and we know it is harder for strikers in the Premier League than it is in La Liga.

I actually think if he stays, which I sincerely hope he does, then he'll oust DCL as first choice striker this season. With players like James and Allan behind him I think he'll thrive.
Just the fact that Juve seem keen to take him back should be making his doubters ask questions. They didn't want to sell him last year but the lad wouldn't sign a new contract so they had to. They could be forgiven for wanting nothing more to do with him, but apparently not.

Yeah I think Calvert-Lewin is better and somebody we can probably rely on a bit more to get goals and perform better as an all round CF.

No idea. Probably somebody happy to play second fiddle behind DCL and rich while Kean is gaining experience elsewhere.
