2019/20 Moise Kean

I actually think if he stays, which I sincerely hope he does, then he'll oust DCL as first choice striker this season. With players like James and Allan behind him I think he'll thrive.

Just the fact that Juve seem keen to take him back should be making his doubters ask questions. They didn't want to sell him last year but the lad wouldn't sign a new contract so they had to. They could be forgiven for wanting nothing more to do with him, but apparently not.
I just don't understand what some people are looking at when they say hes shown nothing.

He's a player who is direct, quick, strong and genuinely scares defenders. Having players like that in a team means he sucks 2 men towards him everytime he gets the ball giving players around him more space. Its such a valuable asset to a team.

I also think he'll come good this season.

Can’t see a future for him with us. Hasn’t shown anything since joining, probably best for him to go out on loan for a season and then reasses.
He clearly has talent, with a better midfield behind him and a year settling in, I think he could surprise people this season.

No idea. Probably somebody happy to play second fiddle behind DCL and rich while Kean is gaining experience elsewhere.
Kean might as well get that experience here then.

Given Juve's forward options do you really think he'll get much more playing time there.? And if is playing well enough keeping these other players out of the team, surely you'd rather he was doing that for us and not Juve.

Both he and Richarlison take up 2 players. Imagine the damage that James can do with the space that opens up for him.

I can’t lie, I really like the chaos neutrals. I have a soft spot for this lad. A good guy but a bit of a wild card.

He does offer tremendous potential if he can learn the game a bit better and make himself more available ala the Newcastle game. He singlehandedly won us that game before we subbed him off and choked it away.

Ahhhhh the game that decided pickfords fate for me

If we dont get Europe this season then i think Richarlison will be sold. Also the following season we probably need champions league to keep him.

Kean needs to be slotting double figures this season so if Richarlison leaves weve got the replacement in-house.

If we sign Doucoure, Allan and James then id be confident he can hit those numbers and possibly even be a starter by season end.

I do wonder whether, if Ancelotti favours DCL as striker next season, and all the signs are that he does, could Kean play as the right sided forward/winger in a 4-3-3? Basically replacing Walcott/Iwobi.

For me this would only be the case if the don't buy/loan a natural RW and only if we get a more mobile/better RB.

I can't see Kean getting masses of game time as a striker, as Richarlison is likely to be DCLs replacement. But I can see Kean being effective on the right with a better midfield/defender behind him.

Also depends on Carlo's favoured setup...
