Again, the common theme throughout them is he’s a good player. I want to see goals and not make half arsed excuses to try and excuse the lack of them. Hitting the post twice isn’t a positive for me!

It suggests to me that he's creating chances and in a position to get shots 'on target' rather than go all Roy Keane hypercritical.

Can't argue with that. Get the end product and we look good, especially in tough slog games where that odd goal will make the difference.

Gutted he never bagged the one that he flashed across the face because it would have been some goal. Beat the defender with ease and then think he just got carried away.

The whole point of him being there is to score goals. I’d quite like him to do that. Not produce a list of ‘oh but he hit the post once so that should count really’ type posts.

I think if he becomes yet another striker who doesn't score many goals for us then we really need to start looking at Silva's system, as that will be the 4th player it's happened to during his time as manager

Just from watching him in a few games he clearly has talent, so if he ends up with single figures by the end of the season then it'll be proof once and for all that the system we employ hinders our strikers (And will be some vindication for DCL also)
