I’m not impatient. I’m just not rushing to laud a lad as the second coming seeing as we did the same with everyone else we’ve signed since Lukaku left.

The whole point of him being there is to score goals. I’d quite like him to do that. Not produce a list of ‘oh but he hit the post once so that should count really’ type posts.

Let’s see him do what he’s here for. Then let’s get excited.
What changed in the 1 premier league start he has had that has altered your opinion so much?
No. It’s throwing the baby out with the bath water claiming we have ‘no X Factor’ when we’ve just signed one of the best young players in Europe. It’s being a proper mard without ever seeing a ball be kicked.

If we knew exactly how it was going to end up we wouldn’t watch it.

We all want him to start scoring goals, we all want him to do well for the team.

Seems your a bit uptight about something though. What’s upsetting you? Come on let it out, we are all friends here.

A 19 year old moves to a different country and starts playing in the notoriously difficult English Premier League and after just 4 games in, only 2 in which he started in has already hit the woodwork twice and showed signs that he is a really skilful and talented player. I will take that any day of the week. He is obviously going to be a cracker once he is fully fit and adjusted.

They are still searching the docks for the ball after DCL's last shot.

I think others are a bit uptight for getting a bit teary for someone actually saying 'I hope he starts scoring soon, let's not get over excited.'

Nothing has, there's a player in there I'm sure. I'd just like him to score before we start building the statue.
I don't think anyone is building a statue to him, but equally I don't think anyone would be criticising him off after 1 game.

There is a lot of adjustment needed for players at new clubs, let alone young players. I think we can afford him a little bit if time to adapt before writing him off can't we?
