"You've been here 2 weeks and my profits haven't doubled. You're sacked! What do you mean you don't understand what I'm saying and I told you I hired you for your potential to develop? BOOOOOO!"
If I’d hired someone to develop their talents I wouldn’t have their production be of key importance to my company.

Again, the management have dropped him in it if we are relying on him to move us forward. I have no doubts that he will be a good player, but we need to start seeing a goal scoring threat sooner rather than later.

It's worse than that though, because there have been wow moments. Anybody who can't see that he's a genuine talent doesn't know what they're watching, because he's shown a number of times that he has real ability. Kicking off because he hasn't scored in 2 starts (in games we won!) would be absolutely pathetic whether he was 19 and coming from a new country or 29 and hadn't even had to move house.
Can’t wait for that 8th place trophy mate.

Good, because if you thought coming in and doing half a job was good you’d be skidding off into the distance.

Iwobi has come in and elevated us right away, Mina looks 3 times the player now he’s fit again, Delph looks like he’ll be the buy of the season. Digne is going to be the best left back to have ever played for the club. Keane doesn’t look like a disaster unfolding every time the ball comes close to him. Gomes is just Gomes.

So we are doing well, we need that striker position sorting though. Kean looks the most likely to be the break through, but he needs to start scoring. Sorry for not getting over excited about him ‘nearly’ scoring.

Of the examples youve given there. Iwobi and Delph were already used to the prem. Mina took a season to get fully used to the league. It took Keane a season to show his best form for us.

So would you have had the latter two 'skidding off into the distance' after 2 starts?

Ridiculous to be critiscing or expecting wonders from Kean so soon

‘I hope he starts scoring’ hardly seems like unwarranted criticism or expecting wonders from a Striker.

I knew this would happen, as did a lot on here who said expectation on a 19 year old is unfair, the hype is out of control and already people are disappointed he hasn't slotted or had a 'wow' moment. 19yrs old in his first handful of games for us, awful at times the hyerbole around young lads.

You’re a happy clapper wanting to give a kid more than 200 minutes of football before writing him off.
