The one thing I’m kind of disappointed about is Simms won’t go on loan now. Maybe Carlo planned to keep him around the club anyways for this year (still a tad young), but I’d like to see him get some experience at some point.

Genuinely don't rate him that much as a manager
He's a decent coach but he's not a great all round manager like our sexy Italian.
Carlo is a better man manager and on par with his tactical knowledge . The Don has arguably got more experience as a manager and a player .
I have to agree with those who say it's not a total loss . Hopefully he scores a bucket load when he gets some minutes and then we flog him to a decent European side in Germany or France . Obviously not a Serie A side , only Turkey sides are as penny pinching .

“I could have gone back to Juventus". They got rid for a reason, why would they want him back?

Never understood all the “he’ll come good”, “there’s a player in there somewhere” etc etc shouts. Probably never got over the humiliation at OT, and didn’t look arsed after that. Someone mentioned comparisons with the Lookman situation, but at least he looked to have the talent, if not the application. I’ve seen nothing from Kean to suggest he’ll ever be a top player.

Really? Kean has been quite raw but personally I've always felt he looks quite confident with the ball. It was all just waiting to click, whether it's his attitude holding him back or not idk.

Pointless flicks under no pressure are all I can remember him for in his hopeless time with us. Far more concerned with how he looks than adding any substance to his play or character, it would appear.

He has all the ability to become a great player. He’s young and talented. It’s not now, but soon enough. That why Ancelotti put him on loan and not for sale.

Agreed. He's got all the natural ability in the world. It's up to him to make it work. I've been watching him closely and I just can't figure out what it is he is "missing".

Flip that on DCL, the lad has busted his butt to become better and here he is.

Couldn't you see his positioning was all over the shop. Never where he was supposed to be, always in the wrong place.

Looks like clickbait to me.

Sounds like he’s basically saying he doesn’t mind leaving England on loan because he’s there to learn.

Arrived on loan during the final days of the summer transfer window, Italy international Moise Kean wants to relaunch his young career in France and continue to learn. "I'm young, I can always improve and I like to do it alongside great forwards," former Hellas Verona scorer said in an interview with Rai Sport. I will progress thanks to their experience. I don't mind leaving English football at all. I came to France to learn. "

"I could have gone back to Juventus"

Having failed to win at Everton since arriving in England in the summer of 2019, the 20-year-old forward has chosen to join the French champion this summer, failing to return to his training club. "It is absolutely true that I could have returned to Juventus," said the Italian striker. But the decision was made with my family and now I play in the French championship. It’s not the first time that I’ll be in Paris. I have been there before and have family living there. I hope to learn a lot from this experience and be able to do well. "
If thats what hes said then I dont see the problem. Hope he does well in France so we can have options to keep or sell. He has been far from brilliant so far but hopefully get some games and confidence over there then it puts us and him in a better postion.

Well known that he told Juventus he wasnt extending his contract and had 1 year left on the deal.

He'll be a very good player for PSG if they play to his strengths...lots of games and goals.

Gone there for game time.

They didn't get rid of him though, they wanted him to sign a new contract but he wanted more first team footy, so they had to sell.

there's a part of my brain can't understand changing our bench where he only has DCL in front of him to having Mbappe, Neymar and Icardi in front of you, makes no sense, he's only going to be a sub again. I honestly believe it's personal reasons and he won't be back here in Blue.
