Yep, you’d hate to caught that short for fire power with just Mbappe, Neymer and DiMaria.

Make you feel warm and fuzzy that we have Tosun as back up.

Why does that matter?

PSG play 50+ games a season. They need depth and he gives it to them even if he isn't in the fully healthy best XI.

The continued efforts to downplay his current level of play is weird to me. Even if you think he was terrible here and can't stand him because he wanted to leave wouldn't it be a good thing that he's playing well and that we can get money to sell him?

What people seem to be unable to comprehend is that even with all their players fully fit, they will need someone to dispose of the teams in France. They wont want to be playing their big names before/after champions league games if they have Kean scoring.

Kean has shown he can score goals In Italy and France. Just because in his limited gametime he didnt score alot in a team devoid of creativity as a 19 year old doesnt make him a bad player.

£60mil is a 'fair' price for this player under a contract, or a swap for Marquinhos :p

Not sure about him, but I do like him and want him doing the job over here for us. However, does he actually want to play for us? If not, no point in discussing, get rid.

I wouldn't sell the lad if I'm honest if he plays for Italy in the euros (IF) and bangs more goals in you can add another £15m to the price tag or bring him back with a goal scoring attitude. can totally understand the reasons if we do sell but I think this lads worth a gamble. especially when you look at some of the dross we have sitting around the squad at the moment.

Well it matters when it comes to the price they'll be willing to pay for him doesn't it? I've seen all his goals etc but I don't follow PSG so i'm taking this at face value. If @Nymzee is right and he isn't actually a key player for them he's just filling a gap, then this talk of getting them to pay £60m is just totally pie in the sky. They aren't going to do that if he's just the player who comes in to give their big guns a rest when they're playing Nimes and Nantes, because they could easily get someone to do that for less than half the price. So yeah, I would say his position in their hierarchy is pretty relevant.

Hypothetical. Would you prefer 30m +20% sell on, or 45m & no sell on.

Doubt we'll get near £60 mil but in the current market we have to be asking for around the £40 million mark imo.

I doubt PSG would pay much more than we did to Juve for him.

The question is how much of a premium his goals are worth, but even factoring that in, I think PSG would have considered that already and wouldn't go higher.

£40 million all in all would represent good business on a player that probably no has wish to return here.

I can't see a scenario where he returns to Everton and performs well. So for me the decision is when not if we sell him.

Only real benefit to selling now is if we use the funds to invest immediately this window to gain a better League position.

Or alternatively Brands etc sell now as they think they won't get as good a price next summer- but I think that is a low risk.

If we can get £35 million, offload Bernard, Tosun and a couple of others, and persuade Crystal Palace that they don't need Zaha now they've got Eze, and get a right back in, I'd be happy.

assuming they don't go down in the next few seasons i think zaha leaving ship has sailed, seems content to just settle there now, not exactly the most ambitious of mindsets but he obviously is content there
