Still, in hindsight it turned out to be a great deal for us and about 14m more than he would be worth a mere year later.
Shame for Jack in footballing terms (not financial though because he made many millions), such a mature kid coming through and had the height and physique to really make it, but got injuries, sold from City, hated by Sunderland fans for refusing to leave after they got relegated and he was still taking home 80k a week..
Cant wait for us to price him out of a move and him standing on the halfway line with his hands on his hips next season for us.

Holding out for a large price only works if said player is happy to return and play for us. Wantaway players sulk, run their contracts down with a succession of loans. What will his price be in 2/3 years when he only has a year or 2 on his contract.

Bearing in mind this is filthy corrupt oil rich PSG, I'd be doubling his price for them. As long as he's scoring goals he'll have takers for what we paid for him, so at least try to rip them off for him.
